I was in Nashville in the fall of 2009 visiting my son in college. He plays soccer there and I had gone to one of his games. We went to Jackson's restaurant downtown after the game and saw Danny eating with some friends. I was hesitant to go up to him as I'm sure he would enjoy his dinner in peace and quiet. But my son decided to tell him that I was a huge fan. Danny got up and gave me a huge hug. We talked for a while and he was so kind. He was so gracious when I asked to have my picture made with him. I don't know if he'll read this but I've always wanted to thank him for that special moment. It meant a LOT to me. His faith as well as his love for his fans shows through his music. I can't wait to see him in concert. He's so genuine. God has big plans for him and I can't wait to watch them unfold.
