Unxpected Web Concert in Boston + Interesting news about Wynonna tribute
Danny's show in Boston got cancelled due to rain and dangerous wind conditions at the outdoor venue, but the people at the local country radio station WKLB were real champs and quickly pulled together a web concert for Danny. I'm so glad that I happened to see that this was going to happen and got to tune in for it. Danny sang Life On Ya, I Still Believe, Tiny Life, Crazy Not To, I Will Not Say Goodbye and My Best Days are Ahead of Me. He looked and sounded great as usual! Brought back memories of the radio station tour when we would see performances like this from Danny all the time. He's great in the big shows because he is such a dynamic performer, but these "just sit and sing" events are nice too, just to focus on listening to him sing and appreciating his voice.

Danny mentioned something really interesting. He said that the night before, after his Opry performance, that he had performed at an event to honor Wynonna Judd and sang her songs "No One Else on Earth" and "Only Love". Here's what someone who was there had to say about it:

Hmm, that doesn't seem to be at all impossible for Danny Gokey.

MK4Life, I hope video of Danny singing the Wynonna songs surfaces too, that would be really fun to hear him doing those. That's cool that you got to see her in concert. I'm glad that Danny got to be part of the tribute to her, I remembering him mentioning how much he admires her a bunch of times.

I got to see Wynona when she did a special Mother's Day concert here in FL, and she was amazingly fiesty & everything. It was a great show! I hope someone posts a recording of him doing at least one of those songs. I'd really like to hear how a male voice sounds on those songs; they seem like some interesting choices for him.
