Danny, you make Junior look good in that pic!! I've met Junior, and he's a really nice guy, too. I believe Danny MUST sing the National Anthem for a NASCAR race...maybe the one here in Charlotte in May??? I wonder who we would need to contact for that? You also sounded wonderful and not a bit nervous at the Opry. Counting down the days for the CD release.... PS I love your rendition of "What Hurts The Most" much better than Rascal Flatts, and I've been a fan of theirs from the beginning.
I'm so happy Danny's Opry debut went well! He sounded great, and I agree with the announcer, veteran Mike Snider, that Danny sounded "Excellent and will definitely have a future here".
He looks good with those celebs above (of course he's the best lookin one, lol)
Awesome. I read someone on another site one time claiming no country music stars would ever watch AI. Seems more than a few did and loved Danny. Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood (who also said she loved Kris), and now Gretchen Wilson. Plus Nicole Kidman who seemed to have a mini-crush on Danny, lol. I also heard a radio dj say that he had interviewed Rascal Flatts and they also said great stuff about Danny sometime last year; never seen a quote from that if it's true.
I was at the event today in Nashville. I didn't see Gretchen, but had a chance to see Danny in a panel with a lot of NASCAR and country music peeps including Dale Earhardt, Jr, Tony Stewart, Josh Turner... Was a lot of fun, and the crowd there was very supportive and appreciative of Danny when his turn came to answer some questions and talk about his forthcoming album.
