I heard this song on the radio for the first time today and it touched me like you can't even imagine. March 19th of this year, my soul mate and husband of 26 years passed away VERY unexpectedly at the young age of 46. Never did I imagine myself at 46 years old living this life without him. We made some wonderful memories over the years, but I wasn't done making memories with him. This song says exactly how I'm feeling right now..I don't want to NOT remember, I don't want to NOT think of him every hour of every day, and "I Will NOT Say Goodbye". Thanks to my strong faith in the Lord and my wonderful family I think I am doing very well emotionally and trying to live my life to the fullest, even though it's been turned upside down. While I'm trying to be optimistic and understand that God is just starting a new chapter in my life, I also find myself missing and loving Doug more and more every day. Knowing that I will spend eternity in heaven with him is what keeps me going. Thanks to the songwriters of this awesome song for putting my feelings into words, and to Danny for singing it with such emotion. I think this song will become the "anthem" for those of us who have lost someone we loved way too soon. God bless!

I like the simplicity of the video. He delivers the song well and I can really feel his emotions. I was so touched by the song and I can't help but think about my mother. I hoped that Danny would release an album that was close to his Christian roots when it came to be. I wanted to listen to how Danny would "talk" to or "sing" to Jesus.
The first time I listened to his new album...this song jumped out at me...because of personal losses and because I really felt a connection to Danny's love of Jesus!
Thank you to the writers for trusting Danny to convey your message! Thank you Danny for delivering a heartfelt rendition of what your writers were trying to say. I am sorry that you, personally, had to feel this pain...but everything happens for a reason. I beieve that so many people have been given strength by seeing your love of Jesus!
