Match Eyewear signs license for Danny Gokey Eyewear Collection

Mineola, New York (October 2011) -- Match Eyewear announces the signing of Danny Gokey, country/pop artist and philanthropist for distribution of prescription eyewear with an “edge”. The collection will highlight Danny’s personal flair with 12 styles set for initial launch in March 2012.

The collaboration between Match Eyewear and Danny began in 2010 sparked by his love of fashion eyewear.
“It has been a dream of mine to create my own brand of fashion frames” says Danny, “I have been impressed with Match Eyewear’s designs and quality and see them as the perfect partner.”

Danny will play two songs acoustically, "Crazy Not To" and "I Still Believe," and be interviewed about his cameo role in the FOX made-for-TV family movie, Truth Be Told, airing this Saturday, April 16, at 8 PM ET on FOX.
